Received: 'National Assistance Program for the Arts' Grant
I am grateful, honoured and also very humbled to receive this grant. This initiative was created and supported by a coalition of funders to provide some support to Australia’s arts industry through the COVID-19 crisis. This funding seeks to ensure that the arts are valued in Australia and promotes that ‘the arts are a critical part of our culture, community and national identity’.

Not just as a way of escapism, but also an instrument to help us gain perspective and build empathy.
